Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest — Nintendo Switch and Switch 2

I opened both Nintendo listings because the names look like one game with an upgrade. They are two products. Switch SKU 7100130091 and Switch 2 SKU 7100130300 were each 29.99 USD for the standard edition when I checked. Feral Edition was 39.99 USD on each, and the Prophecy Pack was 14.99 USD on each.

Two eShop listings, not an upgrade

Nintendo’s compatibility note says the Switch game is supported on Switch 2 and behaves like it does on Switch. There is no paid upgrade path in the listings, and neither studio has said whether a save moves from one version to the other. If you own a Switch 2 and you have not bought the game yet, I would buy the Switch 2 listing, because the price I saw was the same.

What the Switch 2 listing adds on paper

The Switch 2 page I read was marked HDR on a compatible TV, and Save Data Cloud if you have Nintendo Switch Online. I do not have an official frame rate or resolution for either handheld. The 4K / 60 fps line people quote is on the Xbox store page, not on these Nintendo pages, so I am not copying it here.

Cover art and boxes

The image on this page is the Nintendo product image for the Switch listing. Physical Switch Feral copies were linked at Best Buy and Target in the US and at Smyths in the UK. Switch 2 physical copies showed up in UK and European retail links, not in the US ones I followed.

No first-hand frame-rate, resolution or loading-time comparison is available from this site. Separate listings and an HDR feature flag are not evidence of a measured performance improvement.
