Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest — Is It Worth Buying?
I am not giving this game a score of my own. I do not have a finished saga. What I can do is put the scores that exist on one table, with the date I read them, and say who they seem to fit. Steam, when checked on 25 October 2026 during this audit, was Mixed: 1,048 reviews, 47 percent positive. This is a dated snapshot, not a live counter.
| Source | Score | The line I kept |
|---|---|---|
| ScreenRant | 7/10 | A solid turn-based RPG with dated visuals. Story 7, play 8, visuals 5, audio 7. |
| COGconnected | 77/100 | The story could have covered a thin set of systems. |
| The Outerhaven | 3.5/5 | The fights are readable and the amount of content is not. |
| GameBlast | 6.5/10 | The frame is fine. The ambition is not. Quests repeat. |
| GamingTrend | 45/100 | Stances are the bright spot. Bugs, typos, and old textures are not. |
| Nintendo Everything | 2/5 | Clan differences feel surface-level. |
OpenCritic had three of those reviews and no Top Critic average when I looked. Metacritic did not have a usable average either. I am not averaging the table myself and calling it a metascore.
Who it is for
Buy it if you want the cat creator and the stance fights, and you already like the books enough to forgive repeated tasks. Wait if you need a co-op session, a phone build, or a map that critics are calling spacious and empty. The scores above are about the 23 October launch build. On 23 October Trailmark said control issues were being looked at, and on 24 October they promised a keyboard-and-mouse update. A later patch can move the PC complaints without moving this table until I re-read the reviews.
Questions on this page
Is it worth 29.99 USD?
The listed critics ranged from 2/5 to 77/100 in the first weekend, on their original scales. Steam was 47 percent positive. I would buy it for the creator and the fights, not for co-op or a huge map.
