Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest — Cat Creator Guide
I used the official claim diagram and the Steam screenshots, not a made-up name list. You can change fur, pattern, markings, eyes, separate eye colors, tail, ears, body, and accessories. A review describes the name picker as a reasonably large set of presets. I have not seen a free-text name box, and I will not publish a fake name list.
Counts from the official diagram
- Tails: 7 in the base game, plus 2 from the Prophecy Pack.
- Ears: 7, plus 2 from the pack.
- Eyes: 7, plus 2 from the pack.
- Two extra starred patterns from the pack.
- Five extra colors at the bottom of each palette from the pack.
The IGN interview says the cat’s look changes as they age, from an apprentice to a veteran. Story choices can leave scars, and the setting that hides scars is real according to that interview and the GamerBlurb notes. Accessories live in the bag: D-pad up, or I on a keyboard.
Can you have kits?
I could not find a breeding or kit-raising system. Johnston told IGN the player is locked to the warrior path. A review says you begin as a six-month-old apprentice. I am not importing the books’ nursery rules into the game. If a later update adds kits, this answer is wrong and the date on the page should move.
Clan choice changes starting attributes. The studios have not published the numbers. Any table that says ThunderClan has more attack is an invention.
Questions on this page
Can you have kits?
No kit system was described in the sources I checked. You play a warrior path that starts at apprentice.
Can you type any name?
Reviews describe a preset list, not a keyboard field. I do not have the full preset list.
