Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest — Beginner Guide

I did not clear a clan over the launch weekend. These twelve points are the ones GamerBlurb published on 24 October 2026 that also show up in Nintendo Everything, GamingTrend, or the achievement text. Treat the button names as reported, not as something I clicked.

  1. Start in Prophecy mode. Defender and Skirmish make more sense after you know stances.
  2. The creator is not only looks. Body and personality traits set starting stats. Clan, rank, and training set the base.
  3. Keep the fresh-kill pile stocked. The bonus fades.
  4. Read the enemy stance before you spend a turn. A low-damage move that applies a status is still a move.
  5. Focus one target. Spreading damage across a 3v3 is how you lose the turn order.
  6. Carry herbs. Fights include a Rest.
  7. Open with a stealth pounce when you can. The Shadow Hunter achievement counts ten of them.
  8. Unlock an outpost when you see one. It is fast travel and a save point.
  9. Pick herbs as you pass them. They heal and they trade.
  10. Start the long crafts early. Reviews say some den items take up to 40 real hours.
  11. Read the after-fight choice. Sparing pays experience. Some choices scar the cat, and you can disable scars.
  12. Stay on one cat if you want every achievement. Twenty trees and sixteen sunning spots both say “the same cat.”

Specific stance matchups are not published. I am not filling a chart with guesses from pre-release wikis.
