Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest — The Game and the Books
A lot of searches with the word “book” are about the novels, not this game. I am only writing the part that tells those searches apart. Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest is the first officially licensed Warriors video game in this form. Before it, the licensed game people named was the Roblox role-play Warrior Cats: Ultimate Edition.
What the game is doing
You play a cat you build, not Firestar or another fixed hero. You start as an apprentice and can reach leader. The four stories are original to the game; we do not assign writing credits that we could not verify in a primary source. Vicky Holmes, one of the writers behind the Erin Hunter name, posted a letter to players on 22 October 2026.
What it leaves out
The map is the lake territories and four clans. SkyClan is not a playable clan. Reviews say reading through the second arc of the novels is enough background. Book violence shows up as stylized scars you can disable. The ratings are ESRB Everyone 10+ and PEGI 7. The US book series is Warriors. Some countries sell it as Warrior Cats. In French the books are La Guerre des Clans, which is also the name of an old TV show, so the French page on this site says “jeu vidéo.”
I am not retelling novel plots here. If you searched a book character, this game page will not answer that.
Where the game sits on the novel timeline is unpublished. I describe the campaigns as their own stories, not as a chapter of the books.
